Sophra Support
Sophra measures pupillary distance and optical-center / segment height from a
single photo of a patient wearing their chosen frame.
Requirements
- iPad Pro with a LiDAR scanner (the depth sensor is required for live
measurement).
- iPadOS 16 or later.
Getting started
1. Add a patient with the "+" button.
2. Start a New Measurement, seat the patient about 40-60 cm away wearing their
frame, and hold the iPad facing them at eye level.
3. Capture, confirm the markers, and save. Results stay on the iPad and can be
exported from Settings.
Try it without hardware
Settings > Developer > Demo mode runs the entire flow against a bundled sample
face, with no LiDAR or patient needed. Use it to learn the workflow.
Managing your subscription
Sophra is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. To
view, change, or cancel it: open the iPad Settings app, tap your name at the
top, then Subscriptions, and select Sophra. Cancelling stops the next
renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refund requests are
handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue refunds directly.
Privacy
All patient data stays on your iPad. Nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy
